TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: SUKI WATERHOUSE

Suki Waterhouse is a name often thrown around in the press and on news sites when linked to her Hollywood actor boyfriend, Bradley Cooper. 

However, this 22 year old Brit is famous for more than a swoon-worthy boyfriend, having appeared in 3 films and modelling for multiple brands including Burberry, as well as being represented by Next Model Management, the same agency that represents Alexa Chung, Jodie Kidd and Binx.

Ms Waterhouse is a relatively new addition to my TT list, and upon my first Google search I was beginning to question whether I had just been lucky enough to find a couple of good outfits from her on Tumblr, however as I was about to give up with only 5 pictures to back up my point, I stumbled across a whole host of pictures that had me obsessing over Suki once and for all!

HOW TO STYLE | THE HAT EDITION

A couple of weeks back, a friend of mine was debating whether to buy a hat she had fallen in love with from Topshop, after a lengthy discussion, we decided she should go for it. Who doesn't love a fabulous oversized hat for summer?

The situation had me thinking over my lack of hats, and yes I call 1 single one in my collection a lack of them. My problem is how uncomfortable I feel wearing them, no not because they itch my head or give me hat hair on a great hair day, but simply because I feel awkward, to be honest I think I look a little silly.

So, said friend suggested I make a post on how to style them, because that's another issue I encounter.

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: JESY NELSON

Jesy Nelson is famous for being one quarter of Brit girl group Little Mix as well as being an inspiration to girls all over the globe, myself included, for her weight troubles which she has conquered and looks as flawless as ever. This week seemed fitting to feature an LM member as the first of my three shows from their tour takes place in Liverpool on Friday! (excited!) 

Whilst Jesy is a very obvious choice for me, I'm sure you've seen one half of the band being featured in previous weeks, I feel she's a very important choice as she's different, edgy and a very rocky option. My own style has changed a lot from my early to mid-teens but if Jesy had been in the public eye when I was that age and wearing those outfits, then she would have been very inspiring to a teenager rocker. I would have killed to have worn outfits like she does.

It helps to identify with her style when I once aspired to wear ensembles like that, especially looking the way she does.

Her own style has flipped 180 since the start of Little Mix, she's almost unrecognisable. Once clad in leggings and UGG boots, now sporting leather hotpants and, what most of us describe as, goth boots.

Maybe I'm biased when it comes to Jesy, but when she looks so gorgeous in the most edgy and rocky way as she does, who can blame me?

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: BLAKE LIVELY

It's hard to believe that Blake Lively is only 26 years old, not because of her appearance, but simply because of how many years it seems she has been shown on television and the silver screen.

Once dubbed as Karl Lagerfeld's muse (although, at this point, who hasn't been?), this starlet is now the face of Gucci whilst her husband fronts a Hugo Boss campaign. 

Since the get go, Blake has been branded a style icon, even back when she was 17/18 and staring in teen movie The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. With her elegant ensembles and classy poses, girls and guys alike simply swoon over this blonde bombshell.

Blake Lively excels in everything, especially her acting and her wardrobe. 

Besides, what is Gossip Girl without Serena Van Der Woodsen and her mixed bag closet?

THE MAY WISHLIST EDIT: ZARA

With Spring officially here, I'm lusting over everything, and everything, that represents the seasons warm and happy vibes. I've always been fond of Zara, ever since the first time I stepped into the store, but this season's collection is simply beautiful.

I don't recall a time where I was overly fond of the colour yellow, but now I can't stop gawping as how classic is looks in something simple like a lemon coat or a oversized clutch bag.

1. This white 'Stressed But Well Dressed' embossed clutch bag had me swooning back in February when I saw a picture floating it's way around Tumblr. After searching high and low, I was out of luck until I stumbled across it on their website whilst looking for the yellow one (see #2)! At £19.99, it's hard to resist. So don't.

2. Similar concept to #1, this vivacious yet toned down yellow clutch can completely reinvent your outfit during the Spring/Summer months. The 'HAVE FUN' wording is always a nice reminder on those boring days too.  (Buy) (Bought!)

3. This season, this dress is on of Zara most sought after piece. With it's Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 eye print, high neck and full back zip, it's not hard to see why everyone is eyeing up this dress with utter lust. (My puns are atrocious, I apologise.) (Currently Sold Out)

4. During summer, you mostly cannot survive wearing a midi skirt without feel too warm and uncomfortable. However, this cut work skirt is effect, with its square cut repetition and mini underskirt lining, you'll be feeling fresh whilst still keeping on trend with an ultra stylish midi skirt. 5. Pale blue jeans are my personal faves for summer, living in England it's rare to have an extended period of kind and warm weather, but that does not mean we need to dress for winter. These distressed, pale slim fit jeans are perfect for those cooler summer days and look perfect with ... well anything really. Jeans are a staple piece and for those cooler (climate) countries, these are a must. (Buy)

6. With warmer weather, comes an expanse of shorts, hotpants, knee-length, bermuda, denim, jean etc. High-waisted shorts are the greatest invention ever, however. Throwing on white high waisted shorts and a bralet, crop top or a plain t-shirt is effortless without looking like you threw an outfit on in 2 minutes. Not only are they practical, but if you're someone like me who carries a little extra weight around your middle, then they're perfect for giving you additional support and flattening you.

7. These bags have been a lust of mine for months (why I haven't bought one yet is still a mystery to me). First of all, do not be put off by the image, they are a lot bigger and roomier in person. In two swoon worthy shades of pink and blue, they simply are a must if you're looking for that deep pastel coloured everyday bag. (Buy)

8. Pale, Pastel, Yellow. You beautiful, wonderful colour that I overlooked my whole life. (I'm bitter, like a lemon. I'm sorry) My love for pastel coats is ever growing (unlike my collection which stands at zero), and this coats is another to add to my long, tiresome, and expensive list. Perfect for the still chilled air of-mid Spring, whilst still appearing ready to embrace the colourful side of this somewhat in-between weather. And the design/style is simply divine. (Buy)

9. (Buy) I'm a sucker for cut out boots and these are no exception!

10. Oh. My. Days. I'm the first to admit my extensive love for the colour pink, but these stunning high heeled, pointed Mary-Jane-esque shoes literally make me want to sob over their perfection. Hopelessly trying to persuade myself why I shouldn't buy them. (Buy)

11. See point 9. (I also adore white shoes, these are a must!) (Buy)

12. Once upon a time, I thought mules were the ugliest shoe I had ever seen (aside from Crocs obviously) and the mere sight of them made me cringe. This is absolutely no longer the case thanks to these high heeled, peep toed, sleek mules. Whilst they are a pair of shoes that I could see myself wearing quite a lot, it does't stop my want. (Buy)

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: DAISY LOWE

Surprise or not, I'm very excited to share this week's Trendsetter Tuesday with you. I'm unsure whether it has something to do with the fact that I've nearly deleted her name off my TT list so many times, very conflicted whether I could actually find enough images to include her, but after soon extensive (Google image) research, I decided that she had to be here. 

Daisy is an unusual choice because for every great outfit she wears, you could probably find two fashion faux pas in her style vault. with that being said, when this girl gets it right, she really nails it.

Daughter of Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and Pearl Lowe, and step-daughter to Gwen Stefani, is an elite member of the extensive-yet-exclusive new-gen Primrose Hill set. Move over Mossy, Gallaghers bros and Sadie Frost - Nick Grimshaw, Harry Styles, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe (plus many more) have officially stolen your PH status. It's about time really. The '90's was so... 20 years ago.
