THE OUTFIT EDITION: PINK FUR AND MINI SKIRTS

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all of the momma's out there, I hope it's been a love and appreciation filled day for you. Heaven knows you deserve it.

Pink is a colour very much associated with this celebration, so it only seemed right I featured a heavily pink outfit for today. It may also be blamed on the fact I bought this divine pink fur gilet in the sale yesterday!

I'm stupidly obsessed with pastels right now, and I couldn't resist this skirt when I found it for £14, it's very comfortable but also looks very neat and classic.

fisherman sandals are also my favourites right now, I've been lusting for months and months and when Primark finally released a version of their own for a fraction of the price of the originals, I bought them in two colours! (Sadly I returned the black pair). They're comfortable and versatile and can be dressed however way you wish.

Looking back, the top isn't the best choice because it isn't very flattering (fingers crossed it will be after I lose a little more weight) so I must find something else to wear with it for now. I'm sure a long sleeved top will be fine for now, or a cream blouse.

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: MILLIE MACKINTOSH

Now, I'm the first to admit my dislike for reality TV stars, I strongly dislike reality shows and especially the plasticity of the whole scenarios. But Ms Mackintosh is the exception of all exceptions, it's impossible for me to dislike her. Not that I would want to anyway.

The Made In Chelsea star's style is impeccable (how I long for her wardrobe), she has a beautiful figure and I'm quite a fan of her husband Stephen Manderson aka MC Professor Green.

Fact: Did you know that Millie's great-great-grandfather created Mackintosh's, on the Britains best loved confectionary companies and her great-father, and his brother, invented everyones favourite christmas chocolates Quality Street?

Anyway, she captured my heart with her strong love of monochrome stylings, incredible footwear and having a diverse sense of style ranges from feminine to punk rock.

A selection of my favourite Camilla Mackintosh outfits are as follows;

Millie married her boyfriend of two years last September in this stunning vintage Alice Temperley gown.

She is so beautiful, with the clothing to match, it's not hard to see why I, and many others, love her as much as we do.

You can find Millie's style diary on her website here.

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: TANYA BURR

The first thing I would like to point out is, I really ought to plan my TT's in advance and not leaving it until 8:30pm on a Tuesday evening, it becomes a rushed affair and something not to be proud of.
That being said, whilst this week was much of the same, trawling Google images for half an hour to find some adequate pictures to state my case, I feel I didn't do too bad of a job at choosing some of m favourite Tanya Burr outfits.

I'll admit, I'm not a big Youtube-r, my college friends frequent different YouTube accounts and obsess over their latest videos, but I've never been one to do so. But it's hard to stay away from those famous Brit vloggers and I vastly know of Tanya/Jim/Xoe/Alfie/Joe etc.

Ashamedly I'll admit that I may have only seen one of Tanya's videos, but I follow her everywhere on social media and I think she is one of the most adorable people on the planet, how can you not love her? And her super cute fiancé Jim.

Take a look as some of the super Tan-tastic outfits. (Yes, I'm a little embarrassed about that)
I absolutely adore this outfit, the casual essence of the tee mixed with the gingham pencil skirt and res heels mixed paired with a chic black sparkled clutch. I wonder if there is a look she couldn't pull off.

Much like former TT resident, Caroline Flack, Tanya loves to show off her legs, and rightly so! She often sports the cutest dresses and chicest pencil skirts to show off her amazing figure, as well as being an avid fan of nude heels (I really need some!). Ms Burr seems to be able to pull of any colour in the most beautiful way.

What are you thoughts on Tanya's style?

THE OUTFIT EDITION: I ♥ BEVERLY HILLS

If you follow me on Instagram or Tumblr, then you'll know that I should have posted this yesterday, (actually I originally said Thursday/Friday but we'll ignore that). However, I was very busy all day and found no time to collate the images and produce this post. So, sorry.

I bought this sweater a few weeks back (you'll know this if you saw my haul post) after my good friend Kat wanted one, seeing as I was picking it up for her, I figured I'd grab one myself! It's super comfy, although I think mine was sewn a little weird because the arm holes are very small, but for the price, I can let it slide.

I went for a simple yet smart look with this, It's comfortable enough but still leaves me feeling smart enough and not too casual. Perfect for lunch with friends or a shopping day.

This is my wonderful Zara Office City Bag dupe from Primark. For £12, it's a bargain!
Blouse - Topshop
Jeans - George @ Asda
Sweater - Primark
Bag - Primark
Jacket - H&M
Shoes - Topshop

I love that the sweater can be worn with anything, overall the whole outfit is super comfortable.

THE REVIEW EDITION: LONDON LOVES LA GOODIES

If you caught my brand review post a few weeks ago about the British online thrift store London Loves LAthen you'll know that I've been obsessed with their 'Teenage Runaway' sweater for around 8 months or so! I just haven't been able to justify spending £37+ (inc. P&P) on a sweatshirt. However, when the girls announced a 24 hour discount on it, I couldn't resist. In my defense, I was on my lunch break at work, I definitely needed a pick me up!

So alas, I finally bought it for £26.50 and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Sadly, I initially bought a Medium, thinking the size would be perfect for me, however I should have taken the advice on the website that said it would be best for girls to size down. It was a little too big. So I contacted one of their girls, Ella (who is one of the sweetest girls I've ever spoken too!) and she said she would sort me out with an exchange as soon as she received my return.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately in this case) they were out of stock in the smaller size and Ella asked if I would mind waiting until the beginning of this week for a replacement, even said she'd throw in a beanie for the inconvenience.

I really wouldn't have minded waiting regardless of the freebie, but the thought was wonderful and I'm most grateful to Sophie and Ella for putting one in. I love it!
I love how simple the beanie is whilst being really cute (and cosy, I don't want to take it off!)
If you are looking to purchase their clothing, check the size guides for a clear idea. As you can see, this size is fitted on me but still allows me to move around without it being too fitted.
I would also like to point out, the inside is very softly lined so it will keep you warm whilst the cold weather is still here. Perfect for the current British climate.
Love love love this beanie.

The sweatshirt can be purchased here and the hat can be bought here.

Their products are brilliant quality, and their customer service is excellent.

I can't recommend this brand enough, this experience has definitely made me want to order from them again. I would do without any hesitation.

Please check out their items, you absolutely will not be disappointed!

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: JAMEELA JAMIL

I'll admit, I was unsure who to choose this week, but after a very selective arrow key bashing and closing my eyes, I landed on Ms Jamil. Jameela like to dabble in a variety of fields, but her main duties are being a Radio 1 DJ (UK Top 40), a presenter (ex-T4), having her own column in (my favourite mag) Company and being a fabulous trendsetter!

Jameela is a lady I feel like I've seen around the media industry for years, but I don't have a distinct memory of when it was that I actually first knew of her existence. It probably had something to do with T4 though (RIP).

Over the past year, I've adored her column, she's hilarious and quirky and doesn't put up with people's rubbish, she tells it like it is and I really admire her for it. Be sure to have a hearty read next time you pick up the mag!

Check out some of my favourite JJ outfits from the past couple of years!
This has to be one of my favourite outfits I've seen in some time. It's super cute and fun, whilst still being mature with the pale blue heels and a blazer. It takes it from childish to more playful.

I adore her festival style so much, it's so summery and boho, perfect for a festival! Plus, that heart shaped straw bag is amazing.

The wonderful think about Jameela's style is that she's very distinctive without being over the top, she's playful yet smart, experimental but chic. Overall, she varies with what she wears and does not categorise herself.

Jameela Jamil, you earned your TT place my love.

THE OUTFIT EDITION: BOYFRIEND JEANS & TARTAN BLAZERS

This morning my social networking feeds were brimming with tweets and statuses about how joyous the sunshine was and what a beautiful day it looks to be. So I'm sure you'll understand my disappointment when I glanced through the living room blinds to see gloomy grey skies stretching as far as the eye can see. I wasn't a happy bunny.

However the afternoon has brighten up swimmingly so I took the opportunity to take a a few cheeky pictures of today's outfit. It dawned on me, part way through my mim self-shoot, that I'm yet to post an Outfit of the Day post on this blog. I've posted millions of changing-room-camera-phone selfies on tumblr, but I haven't brought anything over here other than Instagram snaps.

I'd like to point out how terribly awkward I appear in these photos, it's the fear that all of the houses facing your back garden can see you, your next door neighbours being able to sneak a glance at you through their bathroom window, alas I soldiered on and tried to forget that there was only my camera, tripod and myself. Oh and the eye blinding sun (I promise I'm not complaining).

Long Sleeved Tee - New Look
Boyfriend Jeans - Topshop
Heeled Chelsea Boots - Topshop
Tartan Blazer - Oh My Love
Bag - Marc Jacobs

This outfit has found new items that I can wear this blazer with. It's one of those items that I bought because I loved it, but I wasn't sure how many different ways to wear it. The jeans seem to be the same but overall I think this is quite fun!

Maybe in a few weeks I'll create a a few outfit posts to show different ways of styling it.

If you have any items you want me to try and dress in a few different ways, drop me a comment and I'll work on it.

THE BLONDE SALAD X STEVE MADDEN COLLECTION

3U5A8574_RGB copia

Firstly, I'd like to point out this that has been in my article list for about the past 3 weeks, but life has been hectic with work, college and my daily LFW posts so sadly it's taken me far too long to comment on everyone's favourite Italian trendsetter blogger Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad and her superb collaboration with American shoe designer Steve Madden.

As I browsed through Steve Madden's website, I simply swooned over every pair of shoes. From the pony hair slip on sneakers to peeped toe heeled boots to gladiator heels, every shoe looks like it was perfectly sculptured. Am I selling these well?

Topping these beautiful shoes off with the fact Chiara collaborated on the line, it's seriously a beautiful move for footwear.

I've featured the images of my favourite shoes below (as sourced from The Blonde Salad)

TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: NICOLA ROBERTS

It's the year 2014, if you don't know this week's Trendsetter Tuesday, then I would like to ask you where you have been living for the past 11 years and 2 months?

As a generous citizen and thoughtful blogger, let me enlighten you. This Lincolnshire-born, Runcorn raised lady is most notably famous for her vocals in 5-piece girl band Girls Aloud. During the band's 2009 break, Nicola embarked on her own solo music career and released one album (another rumoured to be due for release this year). Aside from music and writing for other artists such as Cheryl Cole and Little Mix, she is an all round style icon and she was one of the three judges on Sky Living's Styled To Rock, a fashion design competition in which 12 hopefuls competed to design and style Rihanna, alongside her designer BFF Henry Holland

Nicola stays true to her friend's work and is often seen sporting House of Holland apparel.

Robert's isn't afraid to venture out, experimenting with her style and always looking exciting as well as stunning, something that draws me to her constantly.

Take a look at some of my favourite outfits from the incredible Miss Roberts.

Firstly isn't this mixed coloured tartan suit just simply stunning? In love!

Don't get me started on how fantastic the oversized jersey sweater looks with those white stilettos.

I'll admit, I've been obsessing over Styled To Rock lately despite the fact it was aired in 2012/2013. Ever the latecomer. But she's wonderful as a judge and I've been so drawn to this beauty that I'm feeling encouraged to branch out and try new things, styling outfits how I would envision her to.

Thank you for being beautiful, flawless, a sweetheart and a real trendsetter.

What are you thoughts on Nicola's style?
