TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: NICOLA ROBERTS

It's the year 2014, if you don't know this week's Trendsetter Tuesday, then I would like to ask you where you have been living for the past 11 years and 2 months?

As a generous citizen and thoughtful blogger, let me enlighten you. This Lincolnshire-born, Runcorn raised lady is most notably famous for her vocals in 5-piece girl band Girls Aloud. During the band's 2009 break, Nicola embarked on her own solo music career and released one album (another rumoured to be due for release this year). Aside from music and writing for other artists such as Cheryl Cole and Little Mix, she is an all round style icon and she was one of the three judges on Sky Living's Styled To Rock, a fashion design competition in which 12 hopefuls competed to design and style Rihanna, alongside her designer BFF Henry Holland

Nicola stays true to her friend's work and is often seen sporting House of Holland apparel.

Robert's isn't afraid to venture out, experimenting with her style and always looking exciting as well as stunning, something that draws me to her constantly.

Take a look at some of my favourite outfits from the incredible Miss Roberts.

Firstly isn't this mixed coloured tartan suit just simply stunning? In love!

Don't get me started on how fantastic the oversized jersey sweater looks with those white stilettos.

I'll admit, I've been obsessing over Styled To Rock lately despite the fact it was aired in 2012/2013. Ever the latecomer. But she's wonderful as a judge and I've been so drawn to this beauty that I'm feeling encouraged to branch out and try new things, styling outfits how I would envision her to.

Thank you for being beautiful, flawless, a sweetheart and a real trendsetter.

What are you thoughts on Nicola's style?
