SPOTTY SHIRTS & FOREVER 21

Before I start this camera phone photo induced post, I feel we should take a moment to mourn the end of the weekend. Sob. The real world kicks back in tomorrow and I'm not all too ready.

Okay, mourning over. Today I took a short train journey to Liverpool with my mum for a little shopping trip, I say little but I ended up spending waaay more than I ever intended but I'm trying to forget that little fact and move on without tears.

Normally I'm excited for a shopping trip, and intend to just blow loads of money on clothes that I don't need, simply because I can. Today I was looking forward to shopping but I didn't have high hopes, nor the cash to blow (I'm reaaaally trying to save) so naturally I spent lots and came home with 5 bags of shopping. Go figure.

Topshop was eventful for the simple fact I found a pair of shoes in the sale that my mum has wanted for close to a year and they were in here size, result! I also bought the MOTO Fishing Jacket which I love and will most probably end up not returning even if I did pay £36 for it.

I bought a couple of little bags in Dorothy Perkins, cute long sleeved cropped tops in Forever 21 and a faux leather jacket, leather look skirt and a mottled blue 3/4 sleeve top. I call that a success.

Whilst in F21 trying on a few cheeky items, I couldn't resist taking some snaps of my outfit. It's nothing exciting but it's comfortable and on the right side of casual-chic. (I apologise that they are camera-phone snaps but I haven't had the time to do a mini-shoot with my friend and a decent camera.)

I also really love how bright and oversized the changing rooms are in F21! More stores changing rooms need to be this size.

I'm sorry, I just can't be constantly serious, you know?

Some standard selfies are a must when trying on clothes!

Spotted Blouse - George @ Asda
MOTO Hotpants - Topshop
White Converse Shoes - Bank Fashion
Satchel Bag - H&M
MOTO PVC Heart Jacket - Topshop
Black Round Sunglasses - Forever 21

This is a super comfortable outfit that makes me feel relatively nice but also casual enough for a shopping trip. This is the way forward!

How was your Sunday?

Stay amazing xox

  2. Who doesn't love a massive shopping trip?!? I love Forever21, you can buy so much in there without the hefty price tag, they have some lovely items in there! I agree with you about the changing rooms as well - they're so roomy and bright!
