TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: VANESSA HUDGENS

This months Trendsetter Tuesday star has been on my radar for the last 9 years, back when she was wide eyed, timid Gabriella Montez in High School Musical.

Everyone has an opinion of Vanessa Hudgens but her style is nothing to be messed with, or doubted. She's a healthy mix of pure white, leather chic and boho goddess. Oh, and she's also the queen of Coachella fashion. That's excluding her actual working credits as a singer and actress. Phew!

I'm so mesmerised by her, it also doesn't harm that she's played Mimi in a production of one of my all time fave musicals alongside Aaron Tveit (giddy Sam has returned). Did you know that she is currently performing on Broadway, too?
It seems I'm not the only one who see's this star as a Trendsetter as she was crowned the Trendsetter of the Year award at the Young Hollywood Awards in 2014. (See her outfit for the awards above, 4th in from the left)
There aren't tears rolling down my cheeks over that far right image, I just have Vanessa sized rocks in my eyes.
She rocks hats in ways like no other (I'm suffering from serious envy!). Look how effortless she looks in a black sleeveless tee, leather shorts, ankle boots and a denim shirt. On the red carpet!

Are you as hopelessly in love with her as I am?

THE TREND EDITION: SLOGANS

If there is one trend everyone is obsessing over right now, it has to be the slogan. From Moschino's cheeky slogan tees to House of Holland's worded clutch bags, the trend is dominating every major fashion house as well as the high street stores.

Not so long ago, we all feared letters branding our clothing, it was too bold and brash and terrible, but now there's no escaping it and I for one am absolutely crazy over it.
Jeremy Scott is a big big fan of the phrase apparel and designed these quirky pieces for Moschino AW14 & SS15.
If slogan shirts aren't really your thing, or don't match your style, then you can still join in with a range of accessories. Brighten up your outfit this winter with a bright slogan clutch, funky fash phone case or a pair of bold word print sunnies to fight of the harsh winter sun.

I already bagged myself two of Zara's slogan clutches back in May!
Some of these clutches are still available from Missguided, House of Holland, Marks & Spencer and Miss Selfridge. Phone cases are Moschino and Kate Spade. Sunglasses are HoH.

What are your thoughts on the slogan?
What pieces have you picked up this year and what will you we wearing over the winter months?

Stay amazing xox
