When I say that H&M was my favourite brand this summer, I feel this outfit sums
that up perfectly. This little crochet number and the stone sandals were half
of my graduation outfit and I was super eager to style them again seeing as
that gold midi skirt isn’t exactly a non-fancy affair item. I dug out my trusty
pair of Topshop trousers from the back of my wardrobe and popped them on with
this and suddenly I was in love, with a new go-to summer evening outfit. With
most of my evening wear consisting of all shades of black, this is perfect to
show off my Autumn tan before it becomes too flippin’ baltic to even consider.
I loved accessorising for this one, I’ve been obsessed with ASOS jewellery this
year, little chain bracelets for layering, gold chokers, everything that’s
perfect for ending the summer and entering Fall with a post-summer holiday.
The ultimate highlight of this outfit is the fact I actually don’t look like I’m
just barely out of my teens, I actually look a little more like the mid-twenty
year old I apparently am. That’s always a winner in my book.
