TRENDSETTER TUESDAY: WHITNEY PORT

If you're no stranger to The Hills and LC's budding BFF's, then this week's TT will be a very familiar face for you. Whitney Eve Port - 29 year old American television personality, fashion designer and author - first found fame on the MTV hit television show The Hills, a spin off from Laguna Beach, and then continued to primarily dominate TH's own spin off The City. Her socialising and work life has been followed for many years now and we first saw her interning at Teen Vogue with fellow co-star Lauren Conrad.

From the early days (I've been an avid fan of the different television series for years), it's been no secret that her style is something to envy and her passion lies firmly within the world of fan. During her time on The City, she had moved to NYC to work for Diane von Furstenberg.

In 2008, Port launched her own clothing line titled, 'Whitney Eve'. You can shop her current line here.

Her street style can be very simple, but this does not mean that it's boring or uncreative. She rocks a comfortable and effortless look that is still a firm winner in the fashion world.

I adore the sheer spotted blouse and skirt matching set (found on the Pinterest board), it's chic but the monochrome bra gives it an edge, as does the colour of her heels. It's exciting and thrilling and definitely draws your attention to her. Good work Whit!

The composition of her outfits are well thought out, even down to the pop of colour in her footwear, those choices bring a certain dynamic to her attire and take it from lovely to stylish.

Whitney definitely showcases a good portfolio of go-to ensembles for when you're really struggling to find that perfect outfit.
