Here we go again with the band shirts, The Maine and Kids In Glass Houses are making an appear for the third post in a row and I’m not even mad about it, the majority of my band shirt collection does come from both of my favourite bands so of course they are going to get shown off.
Also, if you aren’t already sick of the trousers in this post, then please prepare to be because I can’t stop wearing and styling them, it’s surprising even to me. A little H&M basic staple has become one of the most worn items in my wardrobe and I don’t see that stopping for the foreseeable (I could do with another pair though).
THE MAINE
My favourite The Maine ever, this 2023-2024 tour shirt had my heart the moment I set eyes on it and is one of my most worn music shirts to date. the band logo in a funky text? Stars? A disco ball? I’ve never seen anything more Sam in my life.
The shirt pretty much speaks for itself so with a casual pair of white trousers it’s able to shine and not have attention drawn away from the design (especially because it has a busy back print too obvs). This look it topped off with a print of black platform mules and a black and white shoulder bag, perfect for a mooch around the shops, a brunch stop, or even a gig. The possibilities with this is endless!
This is my favourite band shirt I own, absolutely no contest. A long sleeved tee with a back print, my fave band and one of my all-time fave albums all rolled into one? Take my money! I’m still obnoxiously obsessed with the illustrations and the fact the track listing is printed down the arms.
I’ve really leant into the green print of this tee to accent the accessories with it, the New Balance cream and dark green trainers small green croc print shoulder bag and dark green cap tie the whole outfit together without making a white tee and trousers look boring. I could actually wear this all the time and not be bored.
When I pulled this shirt out of my drawer I immediately wondered why this doesn’t see the light of day as much as it should. I loved this shirt so much when I bought it (yes because of the back print, stop side-eying me) and it definitely deserves more love.
This is such a casual look, perfect for running errands or grabbing a coffee, it’s comfortable but looks put together even if you’ve just thrown it on. I’ve paired this dark blue marl tee with white trousers, white and navy trainers and a mid-blue fluffy handled shoulder bag to give it a little more personality.
Pop on an oversized chunky knit cardigan and you’re good to go!
What did you think of these? What shirts do you want to see styled next?
