A little one item five ways series has been something on my blogging to do list for about two/three years, however like most things past me plans to do, they never actually end up coming to fruition. Until now.
After spying this lightweight oatmeal belted jacket in H&M whilst in NYC, I fell hopelessly head over heels for it and knew I had to buy it once I returned home (and rightly so, I saved myself about a tenner), since then I’ve worn it non-stop and with just about anything, and everything, I own. It’s just so versatile that £35 seems like a steal for this now. What I love most about it - aside from the colour and soft yet solid material - it works well with both a super casual outfit, or a really tailored and sophisticated styling.
The first outfit I styled it with is really simple, I pop it on when going for a mooch around town or to an appointment, it’s comfortable but looks like a little more effort has gone into it - even though it really hasn’t.
White V necks are my current go-to, so that paired with my relaxed fit Topshop Dree jeans, and my Converse, I feel casual chic, and the rope bag keeps it light and is really me clinging on to the last hints of summer. It’s somewhere out there, just under the dark rain clouds, you’ve got to squint a bit.
